The Bottom Dollars - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
The Bottom Dollars
“The Bottom Dollars channel The Clash’s energy with an Americana twist”
- Popdose [April 2014]

You better believe it.
After bursting onto the scene in 2011 with their breakthrough EP, The Halcyon Days, The Bottom Dollars made it their mission to become one of the most captivating bands in American rock and roll, winning over audiences and gaining accolades in NPR: All Things Considered, KEXP, Daytrotter, ScoutMob, Village Voice, Relix Magazine, CMJ, NME, The Wild Honey Pie (Best of SXSW 2013) as well as features in countless other publications all unanimously in consent of their absolutely explosive (and notoriously unpredictable) live performances.
And with good reason, as this proudly-loud rock and soul outfit from Brooklyn, NY produce an absolute wall of sound…thunderous drums echoing behind a classic rock rhythm section capped by soaring, lush vocal harmony.
The Bottom Dollars return this year with their debut LP, Meet Me In Cognito (released on February 25, 2014, available on all major digital retail outlets) recorded with multi-platinum, engineer John Siket (Sonic Youth, Phish, Yo La Tengo, The Replacements) and duplicated live-to-tape recorded exclusively for Daytrotter.
“A ‘can’t miss act.’ It doesn’t get much better” – Lindsay Gilbert, No Pulp Music
“Professional Sonic Assasins.” – CMJ.com
“The Bottom Dollars’ music goes something like this…it’s having a flask tucked, at all times, in the inside pocket of any coat that would ever be worn. It’s keeping that flask healthily full with something that coats.” – Sean Moeller, Daytrotter
“Pick any Bottom Dollars’ tune and see if the first guitar riff doesn’t make you want a bottle of whiskey and a barstool (the “let’s make some trouble” kind, not the “let’s drown our sorrows” kind) – ScoutMob
“The Bottom Dollars play the kind of blues-and-soul-infused rock that’s best experienced live.” – R. Zizmor, The Bowery Presents’ House List
“Known for the party-marathon atmosphere of their performances, The Bottom Dollars have amassed a following” – Chaz Kangas, Village Voice
The Nuclears - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
The Nuclears
Fast cars, loud guitars, beer, video games, leather jackets, boredom, and good-old-fashioned rock shows. The Nuclears are modern rock n' roll sound, with a classic twist that channels The MC5, New York Dolls, The Velvet Underground, David Bowie, and Alice Cooper all at once. The Nuclears recently dropped the second single of a new release cycle, "Up All Nite", a follow-up to their April 2012 single/b-side, "Myrtle Ave At 4:00am"/"Don't Like It, Don't Get It, Don't Care", and their 2011 self-titled album.

"The Nuclears play exactly the kind of rock n roll that the CBGB's Festival had been missing all weekend. Band members bent over backwards to solo onstage, hair plastered to sweaty foreheads, pin-balling between packed throngs of fans that included glimpses of false eyelashes, fishnets, and glittery flapper dresses on both men and women.... And isn’t that the true spirit of CBGB?" - Consequence Of Sound

"Gutter rock numbers that do The Dictators proud...one confident, bad-ass, braggadocios bunch." - Broken Beard
