• How can I get tickets to a Bowery Presents show?
You can purchase tickets online by clicking the TICKETS icon on any show page on our site and will be taken to the Ticketfly site. Tickets to all clubs and some Bowery Presents shows are sold at the Mercury Lounge and Music Hall of Williamsburg box offices free of service charges. (Mercury Lounge, Thursday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m.; Music Hall of Williamsburg, Saturday only, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.) Both box offices accept cash and credit cards. If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show (cash only).
• Can I scan a ticket from my phone?
Yes, we recommend downloading the excellent Ticketfly app.
• If a show is canceled, where do I get a refund?
If a show is canceled, refunds are available at point of purchase. You will be refunded automatically if you purchased a ticket through Ticketfly. Please note openers are always subject to change.
• What are my payment options in the venue?
Cash is king, but we also accept American Express, MasterCard and Visa at our bars. If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show. We have an ATM on-site.
• How old do I have to be to get into the club?
Most shows are 18+, although some are 16+ and some are 21+. Please check the show page to verify age limits for individual Bowery Ballroom shows. All shows require a government-issued photo ID or passport to enter. Security is present at every show to verify your age.
• My friend and I just started a band, how can I get us a show booked at a Bowery Presents club?
• Does The Bowery Ballroom have seats?
From time to time, we seat special shows at the The Bowery Ballroom. But some of us highly recommend you getting off your tush and shaking what your mama gave you. For handicapped seating, please contact security or the manager upon arrival and seating will be arranged for you.
• Do I need to bring ID?
Of course you do! Government-issued photo ID (including NYC-issued IDs) is required for entry.
• Do you serve cheese fries?
No, but there are light snacks available for purchase at The Bowery Ballroom.
• What are the usual set times?
Show generally begin an hour after doors open. One to three support acts usually precede the headliner, which typically takes the stage at 10 or 11 p.m. For exact set times, call 212-260-4700 during business hours on the day of the show.
• What kind of drinks do you have?
We have a full bar in each venue, with plenty of H20 and soft drinks along with a wide selection of beers (on-tap and bottled), wine and spirits to cure what ales you.
• I have a blog. Do I count as press?
Maybe, but don’t ask us. The Bowery Presents doesn’t issue press passes or photo passes. All press inquires should be directed to the band’s publicist, label or management.
• Can I get in for free?
Maybe, but what are you going to do for us? Relationships are a two-way street. We are always in search of street-teamers and folks to flyer. We can also offer you free admission if you were on any of the Yankees’ championship rosters.
• Can you give me the contact of someone at the label?
Unfortunately, we cannot give out that information, but Google and liner notes might help. You’ll be surprised what you can find on the Internet.
• Can I bring my camera?
Photo policy varies for different artists and is usually not determined until day of show, although no GoPros and no audio/video recording is allowed. You can bring a nonprofessional camera (point and shoot, no detachable lenses) to most shows, and you can inquire about the photo policy at the door or call 212-260-4700 on the day of show. Professional cameras are only allowed with a photo pass issued by band management. NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY.
• Do you have a coat check?
Yes. The coat check costs $2 per item. (No, your scarves and gloves don’t count as items.) Remember: Don’t lose your coat-check ticket! If you do, you’ll have to wait until the very end of the night to get your items back. You can take a photo of your ticket on your phone just in case.
